Don't miss the YCC Surprise Match Race on June 20-21!

If you have your Surprise key, form your team now! If you don't yet have Surprise key, talk to a friend who does! Participating in this event is not only fun, it is a great way to learn regatta sailing and to meet other club members. We will also organize a session in Versoix to explain the rules of match racing so that even beginners can join us.

Tides and Currents - YCC Lecture

A lecture on tides and currents will be given on Monday May 25th at 19:00 at CERN (32-1-a24). The lecture, which belongs to a group of preparatory meetings for the 2009 YCC cruise to Bretagne, is open to all club members. YCC-ers who are preparing for their sea permit and/or are interested in the challenges of sailing in tidal waters are definetely most welcome!

Surprise Racing Team starts on Friday 8 May

With an exciting regatta season ahead, the activities of the Surprise Racing Team are starting up. On this Friday, 8 May, we will hold our first training! Please read more and register at: Surprise Racing Team Registration

These trainings are a perfect opportunity to:
- acquire new regatta racing skills,
- practice and share the things that you already know,
- meet other club members interested in racing,
- team up for the coming regattas.

We need both enthusiastic beginners and experts, so do not hesitate.

Register now! Then come to meet us and prepare for the coming regattas: Geneve-Rolle-Geneve, Bol d’Or, YCC Surprise Match Race and Semaine de Soir de Versoix.

May 10th regatta and results from Opening Regatta

Results from the opening regatta, as well as pictures, can be found here

the 1st Montly Regatta will take place this Sunday (May 10th) in Versoix, Port Choiseul.

You're invited even if you don't have a key to any boat or don't want to skipper. Most crews are formed on the spot, so if you arrive around 12 - 12:15, there's a good chance that you will find a skipper to take you on board.

Distribution of YCC boats is at 12:30 sharp. Private boats can register from 12:00 to 13:00.
